This month we honor Sister Regina Dorise Vaughan. Born in Chicago on June 24th, she was practically raised up in CMBC and joined under the leadership of the late Pastor John Taylor. She confessed hope in Christ at an early age and immediately began her walk with the Lord. Regina continues to be a dedicated member today, under the leadership of Pastor Robert E. Harper.
Regina is the daughter of Sis. Helen Vaughan, a dedicated member of the Church and Mossdell Vaughan (deceased). The younger of two girls, she has a loving sister, Cathy who has one son, Danti, and is married to Cornelias King.
Regina is the proud mother of two sons, Adarius and Zachary Booth. She is a  very good mother, who is very responsible and trustworthy. While she is devoted to her sons, she takes being a Mom very serious and does not play when it comes to keeping them on the right track!

Sister Regina Dorise Vaughan

Regina sings with the Young People's Ministry, the Inspirational Choir,  the Combined Choir Ministry, and currently serves as the Supervisor of the Junior Usher's Ministry. She is very committed and is a diligent worker. She does everything she possibly can to help her young ushers behave well, look good and perform their duties well. She is a very loving, giving, and kind-hearted person who truly loves the Lord.

She always reminds her family and friends that both Pastor Taylor and Pastor Harper have made the statement that, "We should love, live and get along with each other!"
A very straight-forward person, she is just like her Momma, who she loves dearly! She has a  mind of her own, is a very loving and supportive daughter and there's nothing she wouldn't do for her!
She's a model family oriented person who is always willing to lend a helping hand to her family.

Regina attended Hefferan Elementary School, Marshall High School (Chicago) and Oak Park River Forest High School (Oak Park, IL). She began working at the Forest Park Post Office right out of High School, and later earned an Associate Degree in Accounting from  Triton Community College. She continued to work at UPS while attending College and has been employed there for more than 25 years, 13 of those years as a driver.

Regina  received a very prestigious honor when she was recognized by the International News Service as an "Outstanding Employee" of the United Parcel Service. Her photo was      featured in the magazine both in the United States and abroad.

CMBC salutes you Sister Regina Vaughan. We appreciate all the good work that you do and are very proud to call you our "Sister in Christ." Keep up the good work, you are truly a "Child of the King!"
