The members of CMBC would like to recognize Malik Waddy as the Member of the Month for March 2012.
Malik N. Waddy, was born on March 28, 2002, to Kwanda Richard and Ricardo Waddy Jr. Malik is a Christian child who loves attending church and has been attending CMBC since birth.
By the age of 5, Malik was a member of CMBC and baptized by Pastor Harper. Currently, he serves on the Junior Usher Board, attends Sunday School and Vacation Bible School (during the summer). He has always enjoyed sitting with his grandmother (Barbara), as she read the Bible.
Malik, is in the 4th grade at St. Columbanus School. His favorite subjects are English, Math and Social Studies. He is on the basketball and chess teams and looks forward to playing football in the summer. In December 2011, Malik was selected
"Student of the Month" for his class.
Outside of school and church, Malik is a very family orientated person. He loves spending time at the different museums and movies with his grandparents (Alvin and Barbara Richard). Malik also loves going over his great-grandmother (Blanche Marbly) house for family gatherings and playing with his cousins.
Malik enjoys traveling with his mom in and outside of the United States. He has been to 20 states within the US, with a goal of visiting all 51 states by the age of 18. He likes computers, swimming, drumming, video games, reading and watching movies.
CMBC is blessed to have as a member, a young men dedicated to God, his family and church. We pray that God continues to bless you and your family as your celebrate your birthday this month.
Malik is truly a child blessed by God, with a loving and caring spirit.
