CMBC is proud to honor Brother James Fullilove as our Member of the Month for September 2013.
Bro. Fullilove has been a faithful member of the church for over 42 years. He moved to Chicago from Leflore County, Mississippi and has been happily married to Sis. Annie Fullilove, who is also a dedicated member, for 46 years.
James and Annie's only son, Travis, serves with the U.S., Armed Forces. Their beloved daughter, Evelyn, who was a member of CMBC, passed away in the year 2000. The Fulliloves' enjoy spending quality time with their five precious grandchildren who currently reside in Indiana.
James worked his entire career in underground construction at various Deep Tunnel Projects and retired in 1992.
He continues to enjoy serving on the Senior Usher's Board and takes pride in performing his services. He is also a member of the Men's Sunday School class. He has a quiet demeanor and friendly personality, which bodes well with members of the congregation.
The Fulliloves' are appreciated and known for their generosity. Throughout the years, they have continued to donate turkeys and ample canned goods to needy families at Thanksgiving, without having to be asked. They will be truly blessed for their giving spirits!
James enjoys watching all types of sports on TV, and enjoys an occasional road trip back to his hometown with Annie.
