Our November honoree is Sister Gloria Gregg, a very respected, appreciated, loving, and caring member. She was born and raised in Chicago, and is family-oriented. Her pleasant personality and presence is felt in and around CMBC. She attends Sunday School and works on a weekly church board.
Gloria understands and relates to the importance of being a strong mother figure as she raises her two beautiful daughters, Tatiana and kharunissa. She is very inspiring, a true motivator for success and always encourages them to pursue their dreams!
There was a time in her life, when Gloria attempted to pursue a career in the medical field. However, she later came to realize that her true niche was working with the youth. She studied very hard while working diligently in a daycare center for nearly 10 years. Her consistency and dedication led to her obtaining a Bachelor's degree in "Early Childhood Education". Her hopeful dream has become a reality.
Her love for children is her sole purpose for wanting to be a teacher. Whether its ABC's, 123's, social skills or taking a leadership role, she is up to the task. Children are the future and therefore Gloria invests a great deal of time and effort into educating them.
One of Gloria's goals in life is to see the world. She loves to travel and has especially enjoyed her trips to Miami, New York and Jamaica twice. Her favorite color is purple, and she has a strong passion for accessorizing rooms with beautiful pictures, paintings and colorful drapes.
