The members of Christian Missionary Baptist Church would like to recognize Trustee Gladys Woolfolk as the member of the month for August 2013. Trustee Woolfolk has been a faithful member of our congregation and has served under the leadership of our first Pastor, Rev. John Taylor and our current Pastor, Rev. R. E. Harper.
If you know Gladys, then you know she loves to wear her hats!!
Gladys not only wears hats, but also wears many "hats" of responsibilities. She currently serves as a Trustee, Mother's and Mission's President, Assistant Church Secretary and Kitchen Committee member, just to name a few.
Gladys takes her church responsibilities serious, but nothing comes between her and her family. Gladys was happily married to her husband, Joseph Woolfolk, until he went home to be with his Lord in 2011.
Joseph and Gladys have a wonderful son, Kevin and two equally wonderful grandsons, Matthew and Joseph Abraham.
If you asked Kevin about his mother he would say, "Gladys Woolfolk, for the past 56 years has been a supportive Mother, Wife, Grandmother, Mother-in-Law and friend. Even when we don’t agree, I would never change a thing about her."
The members of CMBC are blessed to have such a faithful and dedicated church member. Keep on wearing those hats and looking fabulous! We love you!
